Dean's nose is put out of joint when Nikki moves into the flat and takes over organising Lee's birthday party. Lee has been enjoying 'builder's perks' with posh client Mrs Bryce-D'Souza and is horrified when she appears at the party.

Lee broods over the fact that Dean is now dating Mrs Bryce-D'Souza, thus breaking the unwritten rule. The flat is getting increasingly cramped, forcing Dean to make a rash decision that could split Lee and Nikki apart.
