Paraguayan single mom Soraida Hicks' dream of love becomes a nightmare when her boyfriend Bruce Steinman uses her phone to spread lurid rumors about her, and then launches a full-blown campaign to terrorize her. 20-year-old geeky college student Kaylyn Martin reconnects with former childhood acquaintance Paul Gomez and starts a long-distance relationship, but her fantasy life becomes all too serious when a mysterious black car starts to follow her.
