SHING leads the team to find HEUNG. They find out the one being murdered is CHUI, the cousin of HEUNG. The reason of this incident is that HEUNG owed CHUI 3000 tael of silver. SHEUNG sympathizes them but they are finally sentenced to death and will be executed after autumn. TING uses investigation as an excuse to get closer to TONG but is discovered by TONG’s father TONG TAI-HOI. TING is scolded by HOI. HOI suddenly intrudes into TSE’s house and claimed that as the matter of fact, TIN has stolen a bowl of rice from HOI’s family and shared half to the Emperor (who is a young monk) many years ago. HOI’s family got poorer and poorer afterwards. From that time, HOI kept disturbing TIN and TIN was forced to move to Leung Choi County. TONG is also instigated by HOI to set TIN up.
