Just started this one up again, and WOW. I forgot how good this game is. I’ve already put over 10 hours into it, and it feels like I just started.

Surprisingly good on Switch!

I forgot how wonderful this game was. I spent so many hours playing this as a kid, during summer break, and it still feels just as familiar. Crazy how much of it I still remember, too.

I really wanted to enjoy this because of the cast, but…

Terrible. Absolutely awful.

This is where the franchise starts to become almost unbearable. Instead of Freddy being a haunting, menacing maniac, he’s… a terrible comedian. The corny one-liners are bad enough, but the acting is almost worse. I will admit, though, that some of the visuals are pretty nice at times, if not exceedingly 80’s.

It’s campy and, at times, ridiculous, but still a classic. This version of Freddy is my favorite of all the films.

It’s so simple, yet brilliant. Granted, the storyline isn’t quite as elaborate as later FF games, but it has a charm that still makes me want to play it to this day. Absolute classic.

Easily one of the greatest shows ever created.
