An impeccable use of audio and music to drive great storytelling. Ryan Coogler delivers his best work yet. Jordan gives an all-time great performance, and Caton offers a shockingly solid debut. While many scenes are memorable, the climactic musical centerpiece is pulled off with such precision and power, that it almost feels like the cast and crew are showing off. Pure excellence from start to finish.

What an incredibly strange experience. The acting, writing, and overall design of the film create a spectacle I couldn’t turn away from. Wonderfully chaotic, wildly entertaining, and nonsensically splendid.

Phenomenally acted and shot film. Goldstein’s writing is solid in both comedic and dramatic aspects as always, yet the characters are hard to feel invested in, the world feels underdeveloped, and the editing often quite jarring. Worth watching once, but probably wouldn’t revisit.

Mike Flanagan explores the depths of humanity and the beauty and pain of family all while stitching together a horror masterpiece that brings a haunting atmosphere, connected characters, emotional depth, immersive sound design, and a tight story together in 10 all-to-quick episodes that only get better and richer with repeat viewings.

Quite possibly the peak of (mostly) American animation. Every frame seems intentional, every line feels meaningful, and the combination of a cast and crew working at the top of their game leads to an experience of breathtaking visuals, sounds, and soul coming together.

Certainly a product of its time, but not in a bad way. The combination of ahead-of-its time animation, solid voice acting performances, and a well-paced story make for a worthwhile watch.

Great opening and promising premise with solid performances, but it all kind of falls apart in the last act and fails to stick the landing.

The combination of meaningful character development, vibrant visuals, and masterful sound design make Infinity Castle a must-see cinema experience.
