Tom Cruise gets two girls in this one! The concept is cool, not novel, but cool. Unfortunately Oblivion feels like it spends too much time trying to feel sci-fi and forgets to show us the story. Tom just can't stop regurgitating exposition straight to the viewer. All of the twists are predictable. The coolest part was actually the questions about identity we are left with at the very end, but it almost feels like they accidentally stumbled into having a cool ending.

Just sick as hell all around. My favorite SCP story by far. Cosmic horror done right.

Really fun fight scenes and car chases as far as 2000s action movies go. It's no Matrix but it's fun figuring out how Bourne will outsmart the CIA at the next corner. Something about hitman boss rush gauntlet plots appeal to me.

Mostly aimless garbage. Overcorrected from the first film and made zero effort on the plot, instead focusing on beautiful flight scenes. The Darkstar goes nowhere, Penny and Maverick's relationship is inscrutable making it difficult to understand why she acts the way she does towards him, though I'm sure it's deserved. Just an eye candy movie and not much else.

At its best when showing Maverick & Goose's relationship. Dogfighting scenes were difficult to follow. Otherwise military propaganda etc

Silly choice to use stop motion on the full body robot. Not sold on Kyle & Sarah. But god I love Arnold
