Pokémon Legends Z-A First Few Hours

Discussion of Pokémon Legends Z-A for, let's say Ranks Z through V? I actually don't know if the battle ranks correspond to the story. I just finished my battle with Zach the taxi driver. I'm enjoying this "real-time" aspect of battling! It gives me incentive to actually use my defensive and status moves instead of spamming effective attacks. I picked Chikorita. Question for the thread, who is your starter and who is your best Pokemon find in these first few hours? I'm happy to have Mareep.
